Lasik
Hello people,
Yes I'm so lag behind of all my stories. But this post is definitely will be one of my happiest thing in my life.
Lasik ! Yes I did lasik 1 week ago, and only managed to rest enough till now to blog about it,
Recently some things happen, and this is what also eager to push me faster to get this done. Was intro-ed by my cousin-in-law to EAGLE EYE CENTRE. 5 days before pre-assesment no lens are allowed. So happy, managed to wear glasses for 5 days w/o lens. Despite the small ones grabbing it out to play.
My cornea was just nice to get a lasik done, was recommended to get the bladeless lasik & the cross-linking to strengthen the cornea as my cornea was out of shaped and causes my eyes to have a very high astigmatism. Happily fix my appt on 8 April 2014.
Reached at 4pm, the nurse gave me 2 painkillers, 2 gastric protection pills & 1 sleeping pill to calm me down.
Was brought in at 4.15pm to wash the surroundings of my eyes for the opt. 4.30pm, went in the room, geared up in the cap and gown. Lie down on the bed.
Removal of cornea took 19 secs, laser took 20+ secs, putting of the vit B & UV light to harden the cornea. And when i got up, clear eyesight w/o any aids but just hazy vision.
Waited for hubby liew to pick me up, went home with high teary eyes and sleeping pill effect starts to drowsy. Kept tearing for the whole night thou.
Total cost about $5k with all sessions of test, medications, reviews etc. So was very happy with the results cos I finally have the clear eyesight. No more specs or lens to tire me out. Thanks to hubby liew who sponsored me my lasik procedure. (:
Next - would be gg for the Sq Jaw reduction & Eyelid surgery !
Imma happy girl again.
